Honorary Chair Mayor Michelle Wu and the Partnership to Renew the Robert Gould Shaw & 54th Massachusetts Regiment Memorial invite you to the National Rededication Ceremony of the Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial on Boston Common on June 1, 2022.

The National Rededication Ceremony begins at 11am and will be an in-person celebration worthy of the importance of the occasion.

Beacon Street General Admission seating is free but limited. RSVP Required.

Additional overflow space is available to view the live event via a Jumbotron on Boston Common. Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets. Social distancing is encouraged.

The event will be livestreamed on YouTube and on Facebook. RSVP for Livestream is required.

The Rededication Ceremony will occur Rain or Shine.

To come to the event, we encourage you to take public transportation as parking is extremely limited. The event will be located adjacent to Park Street Station (Red and Green T lines) and is accessible by the number 11, 43, 501, and 504 MBTA bus lines.
