Join us for Sharyn Wortman’s ‘Material Drawing’, an atmospheric exhibition of materiality and mark-making. The Little Gallery will be filled with large-scale charcoal drawings, installational works and smaller slate pieces.
In Sharyn’s series of drawings on found roofing slates, she uses pastel, chalk, and charcoal to accentuate incidental scratches and imperfections, allowing hazy landscapes to materialise. Each work is unique, but uniformity of format and materials fosters the generative potential of iteration.
