Have you ever been declined for a grant opportunity but didn't understand why? Do you continue to use the same generic language in describing your organization year after year?
Have you ever passed on a grant opportunity because you were intimidated by the requirements?
This four-hour session seeks to help participants understand how their proposals are reviewed and improve their writing of critical sections of the proposal. Participants will be encouraged to bring examples of grant proposals they submitted to various funders to use in the workshop.
Participants will learn:
- How reviewers evaluate proposals
- Areas of their proposal that require updating
- Ways to integrate data and storytelling into the proposal
This onsite workshop is ideal for individuals responsible for writing grants for their organization and prior grant writing experience. This highly interactive session has a room capacity limit of 25. Only one person per organization may register to ensure everyone has a seat.
