Sharing is Caring: Non Monogamous Relationships for Beginners Join us for an open discussion on navigating the world of non-monogamous relationships - all are welcome to share and learn!
About this Event

Open relationships are increasingly being portrayed in the media, but no one ever explains the terminology or how to bring it up in your relationship. If you're curious about ethical non monogamy, polyamory, swinging, and everything in between, we're here to show you how sharing is caring. This workshop is a crash course into relationship models that are the alternative of monogamy. We’ll talk about the differences between romantic and sexual relationships, communication styles, and how to bring up non monogamy in your relationships!

About Rae: Rae Szereszewski is a certified sexual health educator and relationship coach. She aims to empower people to make authentic and informed choices in both their relationships and their sex lives. Rae has taught workshops for multiple universities across Canada, fraternities and sororities across Ontario, staff trainings at camps across Ontario, at sexual assault crisis centers, private groups, and more.

Her coaching practice primarily focuses on helping ethically/consensually non monogamous individuals navigate their relationships. Her past lives included making body positive custom latex clothing, and creating sex positive events at a swingers and lifestyle club.

Accessibility information:

There is an accessible, gender neutral bathroom on the ground floor of the building, however the workshop will be hosted in the “basement” segment of the building which is accessible via 2 different elevators on the East side of the building, and the centre block of the building. We will have volunteers around the entrances and elevators to help direct people, as well as open some of the fire safety doors that do not have automated open-buttons. We will be encouraging masking and providing masks at the venue, along with ear plugs and sensory toys for folks to use. Any and all support/care personnel and animals are more than welcome at the event, and all UTSEC events are completely free to anyone who wishes to attend. Though the event will not have food, you are more than welcome to bring food and eat it at the event. We will also have live captions and visual descriptions of the slides.
