We have heard many are wondering what is going on in the old Bonded Oil Headquarters. Since we have been working on removing invasive brush that blocked the view and added our new sign, many community members are taking notice and telling us about their past connection to this beautiful building. We are proud of the seven years of restoration work that we have put into the building and the surrounding environment with the help of our capable and interested students. Nightingale Montessori is holding an open house and tour event for the curious in our community. Maybe you helped build the Bonded Oil Headquarters under the direction of Richard Kuss in the early 1970s. Perhaps you worked at Bonded Oil, Clark Schaeffer Hackett, or one of the other office tenants that used this space. Maybe you are just curious about what the building looks like now and how a school could operate in a setting surrounded by nature. We would love to have you come to this event and help us develop a community history of this beautiful example of prairie style architecture. Lunch will be provided. Saturday, November 15, 11a-1p.
