About this Event
Hey artists and creative folks!
In light of the numerous challenges facing both our local community and the world, we've recognized the importance of providing each other with care and support. That's why we're thrilled to invite you to join us for a special community gathering in our courtyard on Sunday, April 21 from 10am to 1pm.
This will be a time to connect with old friends and meet new ones, share your resources and needs, and make art in a welcoming, non-judgmental shared space.
Timeline:
10am - 11am: Breakfast and socializing
11am - 12pm: Group Discussion
Topic 1: Share upcoming happenings in the Sacramento creative community (exhibits, programs, workshops, etc)
Topic 2: Share your needs and/or challenges (as a creative professional, within the Sacramento community, etc)
Topic 3: Share beneficial resources that your fellow artists and creative folks can tap into. (Business resources, productivity tools, workshops, coaching programs, books, etc)
12pm - 1pm: Art Making time. We'll have some art activities, but feel free to bring your own portable art to work on. We also have lots of lovely native plants blooming in our courtyard if you like drawing from life.
We will provide some snacks, drinks, and art supplies, but feel free to bring something to share. (If you bring food or drink, please bring an accompanying ingredient list).
We plan to share a text document of the items brought up in the discussion but if you'd like to take your own notes, bring something to take notes with.
