What to expect
An expert chef plans the meals and buys the ingredients. We cook together for 2 hours. You leave with 3 meals, 1 snack, a fully belly, and a full heart. When you arrive, attendees are divided into groups, and each group makes one meal. Then all the food is divided up to take home, so that everyone gets a variety of items to enjoy throughout the week. Bring your own containers!
Menu:
vegetarian options always available, dietary restrictions can be accomodated with advance notice
- Moroccan Tagine with millet pilaf - chicken (or chickpeas) braised with carrots, olives, preserved lemon, and spices served with fluffy millet studded with almonds and dried fruit
- Mole Enchilada Casserole - roasted squash, spinach and homemade mole sauce layered between artisanal corn tortillas from Tortilleria Nixtamal
- Gingery turkey meatball soup with vermicelli noodles and chinese greens (tofu meatball option available)
- Maple and olive oil granola
