How does our dancing change when we become an “us” -
sharing center, exchanging weight and playing together through an ever-changing point of physical contact.
A CI duet is like a conversation, using dance rather than words. We connect, engage, and develop the dialogue, improvising moment to moment, through the shared language of gravity, weight, momentum and inertia.
In this weekend immersion, I will be sharing my learnings from thirty years of CI dancing and teaching. Together we will expand our CI vocabulary, attune our listening, increase our range of response, trust to bring more of ourselves to the conversation, refine our perception of “yes, no, maybe” , ride momentum, and calibrate our sense of touch, weight and yield. We will roll, slide, spiral, fall, loft and fly - launching our 2026 CI dancing!
Suitable for all levels of CI experience.
