Overview
A quiet, in-person Sufi meditation rooted in dhikr, poetry, and mindful presence. A sincere spiritual gathering for those seeking connection
This is a quiet, in-person Sufi meditation (dhikr) gathering for people who are seeking a spiritual connection with the Divine.
Details
We sit together in silent meditation supported by dhikr (remembrance of God), listening to Sufi poetry, and simple devotional music. The atmosphere is calm, sincere, and grounded in the present moment.
This session is not a relaxation or wellness class. It is a spiritual practice for those who want something deeper. It is aimed at turning the heart toward God through remembrance.
We practice a form of mindful meditation (mindfulness), though no background in Sufism or meditation is required. Participants come from a range of religious, non-religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
Location is near Houston National Golf Club (not on the grounds).
How to join
Because this is a small, contemplative circle, we request all first-time visitors meet with us at a local coffee shop before attending. This short conversation helps us understand what you’re seeking and lets us a provide a brief orientation.
