We have been made aware of a homeless encampment at Pigs Eye Park in St Paul. Currently around 350 people are living in tents in these freezing conditions. This is a BIG needand we are so small, however we want to do something to help! We decided to spend our Valentine's Day cooking a warm meal for everyone. Dropping it off around 1pm along with hand/feet warmers socks, hats and anything else we can come up with to help!
How can you help??
Things needed:
Volunteers- we need people to help us cook, package, clean, and deliver! this starts at 9am to around 2pm starting at the Arden Hills Amory Kitchen. ending at the encampment when all has been handed out!
Donation- we could use monetary donations to purchase the ingredients and warming items! We are not taking actual food donations, but will accept hand and feet warmers hats and gloves. we do not have room to store big items.
