Now in its second year, Blink’s Share the LOVE program is our way of giving back to the community that has given so much to us.
Through one-day shopping events, Blink donates a percentage of sales to local nonprofits, schools and community organizations making a difference.
Each Share the LOVE partner was selected by the community during a survey in early 2025.
These are causes that matter right here in our community. It’s purchasing with purpose — style that looks good and does good.
ABOUT UNITED WAY OF THE VIRGINIA PENINSULA
United Way of the Virginia Peninsula (UWVP) fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.
Proudly serving Gloucester, Hampton, James City County, Mathews, New Kent, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg and York County.
UWVP connects businesses, local nonprofits and social service agencies to address the community's most pressing needs.
UWVP partner agencies work together to address the Virginia Peninsula's complex issues surrounding poverty, and provide impactful programs and services necessary to lifting neighbors in need out of poverty. Donations help friends and neighbors who are working hard - usually working 2 or more jobs - yet still struggling to make ends meet.
United Way calls this population ALICE - Asset Limited, Income Constrained, yet Employed. 41% of households on the VA Peninsula are living as ALICE or below the Federal Poverty Line.
Donations to UWVP provides the resources ALICE needs to overcome the cycle of poverty.
100% of this Blink gift will go back into the community. Thanks to the generosity of the UWVP Board of Directors, no administrative fees will be taken out of this gift to United Way or its collective impact partners.
