We are requesting your input on Coventry's Green Skills Strategy. Please come and shape your local community's approach to providing environmentally-focused skills and training.

The strategy aims to develop a workforce with the skills and qualifications to support a green transition - ultimately to meet net zero objectives. This needs to be achieved to ensure economic prosperity as we tackle the climate crisis, supporting communities and tackling inequalities to upskill workers and develop green industries.

This may include the following components, or example:

- Workplace training and educational pathways to equip the workforce of tomorrow

- Partnerships between industry, government and educational institutions to help prioritise and develop key sectors

- Support to help small and medium-sized businesses transition
