The Appalachian Association of Sacred Harp Singers will discuss the traditions of shape note singing and then you can have a go at it, too!About this Event
- NOTE: This performance takes place in the First Presbyterian CHAPEL which is accessible through Mill Street entrances.
- Ron Pen will discuss the history of Shape Note Singing, the AASHS will sing examples and then participants will be encouraged to join in. No musical background required.
- Parking is available at FCP lots on Mill Street
- 80 seats available
- Comfortable, yet respectful clothing and shoes are recommended
- Event is FREE but registration is requested
- Doors open 30 minutes before performance start time
