- Ian Berry: World Renound Textile Artist
Shape North has partnered with Kirklees Learning Service and the University of Huddersfield to bring together educational leaders, teachers, arts experts, creative practitioners and cultural organisations from around the country.
As part of the day, you will have the opportunity to take part in 2 creative workshops of your choice to widen your knowledge on how creativity can positively impact young peoples education, wellbeing and aspirations.
Refreshments and lunch are provided.
The day will focus on how creative practice in education has proven impacts on raising progress, attainment, the wellbeing and aspirations of pupils through stimulating keynote speeches, informative break out workshop sessions and research led panel discussions. Attendees will explore how to improve access to arts in practical and sustainable ways.
