Regional male and female athletes are invited to participate in the 2025 Shanley Weightlifting Meet on February 22nd, in the Shanley High School gymnasium. The meet will provide an opportunity for area athletes to showcase their talents. Adult judges will be provided on the squat, bench press, and power clean. Lifters will compete in three lifts: the bench press, the squat, and the power clean. This year, we are going to use an online payment and registration to speed up the entering process. The cost for online registration is $35. Lifters can register the day of the meet, but the price will increase to $50. Weigh-in for the event is from 8:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M. in the high school gym. There will be a short meeting at 9:00, and lifting will begin after that. The meet should conclude around 12:00-1:00 p.m.Meet is open to grades 6th through 12th grade.
