SHAMROCK SHOWBAND + Rarewitch @ Sunflower, Belfast

Shamrock Showband are a Psychedelic Country and Irish Showband from the Border counties, based in Belfast. Inspired by the legacy of Showband music in Ireland, their sound blends country, old-time fiddle music, and punk with sampling and psychedelic influences.

Their debut album 'Shamrock Showband' was released in May 2025, and is available exclusively through their bandcamp. Their members include Jamie Bishop (MUCKNO + Jinx Lennon Band), Conor McAuley (DUG), Joel Harkin (Pedal and Lever Society), and Ultan Lavery(David Murphy Band).

Recent performances include opening slots for Gurriers, Jinx Lennon and DUG, a Sunday night show at Electric Picnic on the Ministry of Information Stage at Brutopolis, as well as playing alongside Rarewitch and The Trad Parn Hoors Band (Acid Granny) in Belfast's Black Box.

Rarewitch is an artist, animator and musician based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. His live performances entail a chaotic fusion of frenetic banjo, anarchic social commentary and surrealist humour.
