Rather than approaching shamanism as a concept or technique, this program is grounded in how Sámi shamanic understanding has been lived, transmitted, and adapted through everyday life, nature, and community. Other Indigenous and contemporary shamanic traditions are met with respect and humility. They may inform the work, but they do not define it.
This is not a symbolic or theoretical exploration. It is a practical, embodied path of inner development - training presence, perception, and orientation in life through direct experience.
Over six immersive weekend modules spanning 18 months, you are invited into a gradual and deepening relationship with nature, yourself, and the living forces that sustain life.
This is not a quick process. It is a path that unfolds through time, practice, and reflection. Through guided work in nature and in circle, you will explore how relationship with land, elements, and lineage can restore a deeper sense of belonging and groundedness in the modern world.
The Way of the White Reindeer is not about becoming someone else. It is about remembering who you are beneath conditioning, roles, and fragmentation.
The work brings together ancestral Sámi wisdom and contemporary understanding of the human nervous system, psyche, and relational dynamics. The practices have been carried through generations and are increasingly supported by modern research into embodiment, trauma, and regulation.
Through this process, you are invited to meet your own strength, vulnerability, and responsibility—deepening authenticity not only in yourself, but in how you relate to others, to your family line, and to future generations.
