Shamanic Medicine for the Self & for the Earth | Originated by Sandra Ingerman, MA At a precarious time of global warming, striking division, rampant pollution, and ill-health for a countless number, it is time to bring forth new (to us) methods for addressing the challenges that we are facing.
Thankfully, our ancestors have left a number of tools for us - fully applicable to contemporary Western culture - for doing just this, allowing us to raise our consciousness, cope (and even thrive) in the face of the problems of daily life, and become a profoundly healing presence - for ourselves, others, and all of life.
In this training, originated by world-renowned shamanic teacher Sandra Ingerman, MA, you will learn how to transform personal and environmental toxins - using spiritual methods.

Together, we will explore:
- Fundamental features of the ancient, cross-cultural practice of shamanism,
- The Bone Dance - done to release imbalances, and open yourself up for your sacred healing work,
- The seven components needed for transmutation (transforming the toxic nature of something),
- A number of simple methods for shifting challenging thoughts and emotions - and the harmful energies that accompany them,
- A disidentification practice, stemming from psychosynthesis, for dealing with triggers and reorienting to your true self,
- Receiving your own story of creation - both of yourself and of the world,
- Learning about our elemental healing allies - such as air, water, earth, and fire - by becoming them,
- Shape-shifting into your own divinity - transfiguration - and igniting profound healing for yourself, others, and all of life,
- Harnessing the power of words to create beauty, health, and what you truly wish for your life,
- The nature of the shadow, and how it relates to the embodiment of your curative spiritual light,
- A transfiguration ceremony of unburdening yourself, creating drinkable sacred water, and evoking brilliant group healing,
- And so much more.

All of the powerful exercises in this training are guided; no shamanic journey or other prior knowledge required!
This incredible workshop will be held in southern Indiana’s rolling hills - specifically in the inclusive city of Bloomington, only about an hour from Indianapolis. The venue (which is a gathering place for trusted local holistic practitioners, and offers customized massage and bodywork sessions) is mere steps from all manner of delicious eateries, shops, and amenities, and is only minutes from downtown’s rich cuisine, trivia nights, and performances, the brilliant hiking and recreation areas of Lake Monroe, the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center (which has several times hosted His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet), and Bloomington’s enriching end-of-summer experiences.
And, a program like this provides a fantastic opportunity to be in heart-full community with like-minded people interested in this sacred work.
Not only do these teachings form the basis of a healthy shamanic practice, it also offers you a path of living that spiritually uplift, heals, and blesses, rather than harms, yourself and the web of life. And at this time on the planet, it is clear that we need change-makers who are willing to walk in greater unity, harmony, and higher consciousness, as well as utilize the energetic truths of our world for the benefit of all. Join me as we explore a shamanic way of life together, and transform the toxins within and without using truly transformative methods.
