We all have parts of ourselves that we have closed off or shut down to learn to survive through life’s difficulties. These parts stay hidden inside of us and sometimes show up when we least expect it. When we learn to retrieve these parts of ourselves we learn there are no bad parts – only those that took care of us when we couldn’t take care of ourselves completely, In this we find freedom and healing and we are more whole regardless of our age or circumstance or past coming home to who we truly are frees us. This workshop series holds the goal of healing our parts by soul retrieval methods of shamanic practices. Shamanism uses the earth that we are part of in our healing process. It grounds us in the “knowing” of our true nature. We will walk through a developmental stage of life in these weeks to heal – to know- - to understand that which we turned away from, and we will realize our full potential by coming to know and understand the impact this has had on our lives even today.
The sessions include Shamanic journeying which may feel like meditation or dreaming or even making it up – it does not matter. Our minds are vast, and we are the experts in where it goes. We will also utilize self-taught EMDR basic skills (bi-lateral brain stimulation) to calm and to shift the brain around these experiences. Lastly, Reiki will restore and rejuvenate our life and experience.
Time: 75 min per session
Workshop is the 3rd Sunday of the month at 12:30pm
December-May take all of them or drop in for one or two
Exchange $25 per session
Kathleen Williams, PHD is a specialist in EMDR and has a private practice in New Jersey. In addition, she is a Reiki Master and Shaman Practitioner. She has spent her life’s work healing trauma and has been handing down shamanic skills from the experts to integrate into this healing paradigm. Come join us!
