Shamanic journeying is the art of using rhythm and intention to enter an altered state of being in the theta state of consciousness in order to open perceptions and connect on a deeper level.A shamanic journey provides the experience of obtaining wisdom and teachings from our highest selves, spirit guides and our subconscious knowledge.
***This in person workshop is open for curious beginners and experienced travelers alike. Newbies are asked to come 30min. earlier for teachings so that we can "launch" right away!
What to Bring
• Drum/Rattle You do not need a drum for this class, but if you have one, feel free to bring it and a rattle. A rattle can easily be made with rice or beans in a small jar with a lid.
• Journal/Pen
• Scarf for the eyes
• A water bottle
• Comfort items- you may want to lie down to journey so bring a yoga mat or blanket for the floor plus a blanket to cover yourself if you wish (a sleeping bag works too) and any pillows needed.
