In our culture, we are taught to be upright, perfect, invincible - the best of the best. We learn that we are not valuable or worthy unless we win every contest, succeed in every gamble, and triumph in every category. We must stick it out to the end, be the last man standing when everyone else has fallen - or else. Furthermore, we must demonstrate continuous improvement - always rise, never fall.
But what if falling has gotten an unfairly bad rap? What if failure, surrender, and letting go are frequently the keys to success, renewal, and arriving where we belong? In this journey circle, we’ll explore themes of “falling” - and how they may prove to be our greatest chances to rise again.
Please Note: This is a safe, sober container that welcomes everyone from total beginners to experienced practitioners. Please bring a pen and notebook to record your journeys, as well as any crystals or sacred items that would be a contribution to your journeying experience. Blankets, pillows and yoga mats will be provided.
