Shamanic Drum Making WorkshopThis is an opportunity for you to experience an ancient practice of drum making in a way that honours the process.
Shamanic drums around the world are used for personal, communal and Earth healing. They are considered a sacred medicine tool and the process of creating and birthing your own Drum is a sacred ritual.
In this workshop you will, through meditations, connect with the Standing Ones (Trees) who provide the timber for the hoops and with the Four Legged Ones (Goats) who provide the skins for your Drum. We guide you through the process of creation in a respectful way.
When: 25th January, 2025
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Dunalley Community Hall
Cost: $480 (15 inch)
Bring some warm socks or your slippers to ensure you are comfy in the Hall.
Light refreshments, tea and water will be provided. Please bring own lunch, though we almost certainly will have plenty to share 😆
