About this Event
Shamanic Cacao Dance
7 March | 6.30–9pm
📍 Portobello Community Centre
Join us for a heart-opening, body-releasing, community-centred Shamanic Cacao Dance — a sacred, grounded space to drop into the body, open the heart, and move whatever is ready to be released.
This evening is an invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect — with yourself, with the music, and with the collective energy of the group. Guided by the gentle yet powerful medicine of ceremonial cacao, we create a container where movement becomes ritual and presence becomes prayer.
The evening begins with a cacao-led shamanic journey guided by @moon_shine_holistic_therapy, supported by the deep, steady resonance of the shamanic drum. This opening journey invites you inward — into connection, embodiment, and awareness — allowing you to arrive fully in your body and heart.
From here, we gently transition into movement and release through immersive tribal didgeridoo soundscapes with the Sound Shaman @didgeridoo.jedi. The music is intentionally crafted to support organic, intuitive movement — encouraging the body to move, soften, express, and integrate in its own way and at its own pace.
This is not a dance class and there is no choreography. There is no right or wrong way to move. You are welcome to dance freely, sway softly, remain still, rest, or simply listen. All expressions are honoured.
This is an alcohol-free, judgement-free space, rooted in respect, safety, and authenticity. You are invited to show up exactly as you are — without expectation, without performance — and to be held within a supportive, community-centred environment.
Whether you are new to cacao ceremonies or a returning participant, this space welcomes you just as you are.
