Shall We Talk Treaties?

Dr. Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux will speak to the many treaties - still sacred, still viable, and still in negotiations for implementation, that cover the Province of Ontario. She will begin with the "Dish with One Spoon" and the foundational Peace and Friendship Treaties that were to govern the relationship between Indigenous peoples and the settlement of what is now known as Canada.
