Kenny & The Jokers were one of the original “Swamp Pop” groups from South Louisiana playing in the area from 1960 to the present. Kenny & The Jokers are one of the few “Swamp Pop Bands” that have stayed together and performed for over 65 years. The group still performs in the Acadiana area at clubs, reunions, weddings, festivals, etc.
The current Kenny & The Jokers band consists of six talented musicians, four of which are singers and two of which are music professors. The group consists of a lead guitar, a bass guitar, a keyboard, drums, and two saxophones.
They play a variety of music, including “Swamp Pop”, 50’s & 60’s, Top 40 Music, Country, Cajun, and Zydeco, whatever it takes to please the crowd. They are not just musicians, but entertainers, as the name of the band “The Jokers” implies, and it really shows in their performances.
