Kees van Boxtel started to study Indian Classical music about 15 years ago. As a silver flute player he heard on his first trip to India the Bansuri, an Indian Bamboo flute, and his love for this magical instrument was born.
At the Rotterdam Concervatorium he followed lessons with Hari Prasad Chaurasia, a virtuose bansuri-speler. He travelled many times to India to learn from different bansuri-masters, the fine technics. The Hindustanic music-firmament of raga en tala, with all his glidings and ornamentations.
He has studied under the leadership of pandit Alok Lahiri. Kees is giving concerts in India and Europe with a lot of different Indian classical masters and other world music musicians.

▽ SHAKTIPAT
Shaktipat is a traditional, mystical, Tantric ceremony. In Sanskrit, Shaktipat literally means descent of grace. Through ritual and intent we invite awareness of life energy (Kundalini) into our bodies. Resulting in a more flow, bliss and ease.
Shaktipat is a solo meditation, supported by collective energy. You will be ‘touched’ by water of the Ganga river, sacred ash, Kumkum and a third eye blessing of the Siddha lineage. Indian Vedic chants will support you into deeper meditation and prayer.
A Shaktipat can be a deeply transformational experience.

There is a light that provides guidance and release. We barely notice it rising once a month moving all of nature.
