Shakira Concert Tickets
Shakira got her start in the music industry at the age of 13 when she recorded her first studio album, Magia, with Sony Colombia. She earned worldwide acclaim with the international release of Pies Descalzos in 1995 and Dónde Están los Ladrones? in 1998, both of which rose up the US Latin chart and sold more than 5 million copies each. Her fourth album, Laundry Service, which came out on Nov. 13, 2001, was the first to be recorded primarily in English. It became her greatest hit, reaching No. 3 on the US chart and selling more than 13 million copies worldwide. The single "Whenever, Wherever" reached No. 1 in several markets. After such enormous success, she returned to her Spanish language roots with Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 in 2005. That same year, she released a follow-up album in English, Oral Fixation, Vol. 2, which featured her biggest hit single, "Hips Don't Lie," with Wyclef Jean. The song reached No. 1 in almost every major market, including the United States. She followed it up with She Wolf in 2009, Sale el Sol in 2010, Shakira in 2014 and El Dorado in 2017. She was also featured on the official 2010 FIFA World Cup album with the hit song "Wake Wake (This Time for Africa)." On the awards circuit, Shakira has won three Grammy Awards out of six total nominations. Both her 2000 live album MTV Unplugged and the studio album El Dorado won Best Latin Pop Album. She has also received nominations and wins from the Golden Globe Awards, the Brit Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the Latin Grammy Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, the BET Awards and many more. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
