Join Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (OSP) for Shakestoberfest a free, family friendly celebration for the community. OSP is the state’s only classical theatre company, with both an indoor and outdoor theatre in the Paseo in the heart of OKC.
There will be live music, Shakespearean performances and a stage combat demonstration on the outdoor stage and workshops in clowning and improv on the indoor stage. There will be crafting for
the little ones, a live podcast of “The Shakespearean Shrew” and facepainting.
Entry to the event is free, including entertainment and classes, but donations will be accepted, and some vendors will offer activities, treats and eats for sale.
The entire event is free but there will be items to purchase including food from The Paseo Grill, adult and kid-friendly beverages in our newly refurbished “Mermaid Tavern,” books, author signings, dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes, face painting and even a raffle with fabulous prizes.
