It's the ides of March at Elmwood Cemetery.Et tu, Brute? It's the ides of March, and what better way to spend the early evening than with an hour of live theatre?
Shakespeare comes to Elmwood Cemetery this Friday, March 15th, at 6:30 pm. Actors Michael Khanlarian and Lauren Gunn (directed by Sarah Hankins) of the Tennessee Shakespeare Company will perform 1 hour of Shakespeare's Greatest Hits, including scenes from Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, and Henry IV, Part 1. These are some of the bard's best death scenes, and there's no better place to experience them than in Elmwood Cemetery.
We'll meet in the Chapel for this indoor performance. Light bites and beverages will be served. The cost to attend is $20 per person.
