Some sacred things come in dreams and this magical tool is one of them. After many months of walks along the beach and collecting shells and things in my early training, this sacred sound instrument appeared in my dreams. I have been making them and teaching workshops to create them.
The sound is like water or the wind. It is tactile. Loud and subtle.
It is an instrument of healing, ceremony and meditation.
The sound is complex and full of many voices.
Participants will explore sounds and an abundance of materials to create their sacred shaker. We will journey and weave our sounds together into a community healing circle to birth our shakers into the world. Materials provided. You can bring things that you want to weave into your shakers to add personal meaning. Please Bring Scissors.
