Shakedown Sunday at the 443 Social Club

Shakedown Sunday is a monthly series hosted by Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers and members of Dead to the Core, with special guests, that celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead—not just the band’s originals but songs from across the roots and rock worlds they made their own.

Liz Strodel is a musician grounded in natural rhythm. A self-taught drummer by choice, she began performing locally in 2001. With a sharp ear for nuance and groove, Liz moves effortlessly across genres—from funk and folk to soul, indie, blues, and pop. She has performed with a range of artists, including Mark Doyle, Pete McMahon, John Rohde and Friends, Alex Becerra, Bob Halligan Jr., Gina Holsopple, the Super Delinquents, Leif Olsen, the Goonies, and Major Player. You can find Liz playing locally with Tangled Roots, the CNY Songbirds, and her newly formed band, Pocket Nod. Outside the drum kit, Liz has written and released an EP of original songs, Nights and Weekends, showcasing her talents as a multi-instrumentalist.

• The 443 has a $15 per person/seat required minimum purchase for our shows, which can be any combination of food and drink. If your party (or part of it) does not show up, the ticket buyer will be charged $15 per person. Please let us know if you're not coming at least 24 hours before the show to avoid this charge.
• The 443 is an 18+ venue.
• No outside food or drink allowed.
• Ticket limit: 6 single seats. We cannot seat parties of more than 6 at the same table.
• Be respectful to the artist on stage and considerate to your neighbors - put your phone away, limit your conversation, and plan to be settled in your seats before the show starts.

* If anyone in your party needs special seating arrangements - walker, cane, service animal, wheelchair, or low table requirement - please email us after you place your order.

* If you would like to be seated with another party, please let us know before the day of the show.

* Seating is assigned. VIP Patron members can request specific tables, and all other ticket holders are randomly assigned.
