Experience the JOY of dance through Shake Your Soul! Shake Your Soul is a dynamic movement practice that energizes your body, relaxes your nervous system, and awakens your soul through a dance repertoire set to world music. Fun, freeing, meditative, graceful, and sweaty, the class invites you to dance from within and with others in community. Absolutely no dance experience is needed to experience this body mind connection. This class is appropriate for all levels and welcomes all movers and music lovers. 

Katy Baytosh BIO: 

Katy Baytosh never thought of herself as a dancer until 1999 when she stumbled into a Nia class in Boulder, CO and reawakened her childhood love of dance. Since then, Katy has been participating in and teaching expressive movement classes with the singular goal of sharing the joy and connection that comes from dancing for ourselves and in community with others. Trained in Nia, Shake Your Soul, and Zumba, Katy's mission is to help people recognize that dance is for everyone and can be enjoyed without any special training or technique. In recent years, Katy has deepened her expertise in somatic movement through Shake Your Soul trainings, learning from the founder of the Leven Institute for Expressive Movement, Dan Leven. When she's not dancing, Katy enjoys helping adolescents discover their path to and through college as a College Advisor. She also loves to travel, do yoga, speak Spanish, and spend time with her family on the Cape and in the mountains of NH.
