About this Event
Join us on our slightly shorter weekend winter ride to shake those post-Xmas blues off! This is a 15 mile ride for women only that will take you from the heart of the city centre over to Wollaton Park before we head up to Strelley and the cosy Mulberry Tree Cafe for a hot drink and an alternative to a mince pie! Heading back to town via Bilborough and the River Leen. We'll be sticking to off-road tracks, cycle paths and quiet back streets.
There are some undulations on this ride, but we will be going at a steady pace - we welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, and ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!

You’ll be in safe hands, we’re experienced ride leaders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.
You won’t need anything fancy, just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help enable you to join this ride.
