Welcome to a new kind of movement class! Dakota is trying out the Monday 5.30pm slot at Avebury House with Shake It Out - a class guided by collaboration and finding joy. Dakota is an experienced and well-qualified yoga and
Gentle Exercise teacher, but Shake It Out is a safe space to explore spontaneous movement, with no expectations, no set poses to learn, and no judgement. Dakota is there to guide and facilitate YOUR class. She can even dim the lights!
The first Shake It Out class will be on Monday Sept 9th at 5.30pm.
There is no charge for this introductory session as it will be an
opportunity to see how the class might work. Thereafter, as with all our fitness groups, we accept a koha; if you can afford it, we suggest $10/class to help us pay for Dakota’s time, and it is also eligible for our 10-trip cards ($90).
We understand this idea may take time to grow, so we are committed to a 3-month trial - come and try it out! Dakota recommends comfortable clothing, and soft shoes or socks.
