Robert Garrett, owner of Busy Bee Laundry and Robz Beez Honey in Hutchinson became interested in honeybees since 1990.
He started his own backyard orchard raising more than 20 various types of fruit trees that attract the pollinator species. In 2018 he expanded into more than 30 hives in 5 different locations in Hutchinson.
Garrett will discuss the types of bees in hives, how to find the queen, jobs within a hive, anatyomy of a hive, caring for bees, and much more.
