ENJOY EVENT AT CCSSC OR FACEBOOK LIVEJoin us Sunday evening for the sight of Earth's shadow sweeping over the Moon! As the Earth moves directly between the Moon and Sun, we will see Earth's shadow slowly cover the face of the Full Moon, starting at 10:30 pm ET.
Once the Moon is completely covered in the Earth's shadow (totality, 11:30 pm ET) we'll be able to see how sunlight bent through our atmosphere gives the Moon a red-orange glow!
