✨ Chesterton Academy Shadow Day – Experience a Day in the Life! ✨Do you have an 8th or 9th grader wondering what it’s like to be a student at St. Michael the Archangel Chesterton Academy? We invite them to spend the day with us on Thursday, March 19, 2026, for our Chesterton Academy Shadow Day! This is a unique opportunity to experience our joyful Catholic community, engage in real classroom learning, and meet the faculty and students who make Chesterton Academy exceptional.

📅 Event Schedule
Arrival: Drop students off at the main church entrance (east side, opposite the bell tower) before 7:45 AM.
Morning Prayer: The day officially begins at 7:45 AM in the church with Lauds (Morning Prayer).
All-School Mass
Students will participate in Mass at 8:35 AM.
Classes & Activities: Prospective students will receive a full schedule of classes. All necessary readings will be provided.
Lunch: Pizza lunch is provided! Students may bring their own lunch if preferred.
Dismissal
- SMS students will be dismissed following the regular school schedule.
- Guests will be dismissed from the Parish Office exit 2:37 PM.
👕 What to Wear
- Your St. Michael the Archangel Chesterton Academy t-shirt
(We’ll provide one if you don’t have it yet!)
- SMS uniform bottoms: khakis, navy pants, or skirts
🎒 What to Bring
- Basic school supplies (notebook, paper, pens, eraser)
- A refillable water bottle
- Lunch, only if not eating pizza
