Shadhili Summer Retreat
Join us for our summer retreat at The Greenhouse at Barnes Close in Bromsgrove, UK.
We will have the whole estate to ourselves, to use as our home for the weekend. We hope to come together to spend time with one another away from our usual day-to-day, to rest and recharge, and share in spiritual practices.
We hope this weekend will strengthen our bonds as brothers and sisters on the way, allowing us to relax with one another and drink deeply together from the teachings of our late beloved guide Sidi, Shaykh Muhammad Sa'id Al-Jamal Al-Rifaa'i ash-Shadhdhuliyyah. We hope to come together each day in prayer and meditation.
InshAllah there will be also be opportunities for reading Sidi's teachings, having open discussions and singing praises on our Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family.
We hope this weekend retreat is a chance for you to draw closer to your brothers and sisters on the way, and to strengthen your bond or reconnect with your Creator.
The venue itself has beautiful grounds for us to explore should you desire to spend some time in nature.
For children there is a ping pong table and lots of safe outside space to play, away from any main roads. There are multiple communal rooms so there is plenty of space inside the house for children to play with their toys or find a quiet corner to read.
