Shabbat in the City is the perfect opportunity for a Shabbat twist on dinner and a show in Boston. In partnership with Temple Shir Tikvah, everyone is invited to participate in Friday night services led by Rabbi Danny Burkeman and Cantor Hollis Schachner. The evening continues with a delicious dinner and drinks, and ends with a performance of the award-winning play The Dybbuk. This is a not to be missed once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a fully immersive experience.
The Dybbuk, winner of the 2025 Outstanding Production Elliot Norton Award, returns to Boston for limited encore performances! A mystical Yiddish folktale, this is a story of love, family, displacement, and the restless Jewish soul. Steeped in folklore and cultural tradition, reimagined in a contemporary new production by Ukrainian-born, Jewish director Igor Golyak, The Dybbuk is set in the heart of the historic sanctuary of The Vilna Shul, Boston’s Center for Jewish Culture on Beacon Hill.
This special evening includes dinner and a show (typically $124) for the price of a theater ticket alone ($99).
