Ymunwch a ni yn Storiel ar dydd Gwener y 5ed o Rhagfyr am sgwrs artsis gan Gareth Griffith enillydd y Fedal Aur am Gelfyddyd Gain yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Wrecsam 2025. Bydd Gareth yn tywys ni o amgylch ei arddangosfa o waith i’r dewiswyd i arddangosfa Y Lle Celf, arddangosfa flynyddol yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol. Cynghorwyd y tri beirniad, Bedwyr Williams, Angela Davies ac Anya Painstil i Gareth gyflwyno ei waith i wir adlewyrchu ei ymarfer stiwdio. Bydd cyfle i glywed gan Gareth am yr gallwch ugain o darnau , fel y dangoswyd yn yr Eisteddfod ym mis Awst.

Mae Gareth Griffith yn arddangos gwaith yn Cabinet Storiel – gofod i artistiaid ymateb trwy celf cyfoes i gasgliadau amgueddfaol Storiel.

Join us at Storiel on the of December the 5th at 2pm for an artist talk by Gareth Griffith winner of this year's Gold Medal for Fine Art at the 2025 National Eisteddfod in Wrexham. Gareth will guide us through the inspiration behind the five works chosen by the selectors to consider for the National Eisteddfod’s annual exhibition Y Lle Celf as well as other recent work in the series. The three judges, Bedwyr Williams, Angela Davies and Anya Painstil invited Gareth to extend his submission so that it reflected his studio practice. The artist talk can delve into the twenty strong works, that caught the imagination of Festival goers in the Eisteddfod in August.

Gareth Griffith is also exhibiting recent work in Storiels’ cabinet – a space for artists to respond to Storiel’s museum collections through contemporary art.
