It's like a monthly Book Club...but for Records!
For all music and vinyl/record lovers.
Each month we'll share our favorite records and explore new music together!
Our October Edition will be: 'Albums that give you Chills!' 🎃
So bring any album that gives you chills. Music can give us chills for many different reasons.....because it's spooky, unique or beautiful, because it resonates with us or simply because it blows our mind! So pick the one that has given you chills for whatever reason that makes sense to you! Go with your gut - don't overthink it!
How it Works:
- Each registrant brings 1 or 2 (if you can't choose) albums (must be on vinyl!) that fit the month's theme. Any genre!
- Each person will have a 10-15 minute slot (adjusted based on attendance #'s) to explain why they chose that album to share and play a portion of it on the record player at the venue.
- Fun Q&A's and music polls will also be conducted throughout!
- We all explore new music together.
- Food & Drinks available at the venue.
- Feel free to bring friends (but they must also register). We will be capping the amount of participants that can share an album at 12 each month.
Note: This is about celerbation of music & the stories behind the albums. There is a good chance you won't like all the types/genres of music you hear. But it is about exploring genres and even if you uncover one new album, artist, genre or make a new friend - those are all wins!
