Join us at the Tin Can Chandelier for a creative and hands-on Sgraffito Workshop, perfect for artists of all levels! Sgraffito is a decorative pottery technique that involves scratching through a layer of colored slip or underglaze to reveal the contrasting clay body beneath, creating intricate patterns, images, or textures.
In this two-hour session, each participant will be provided with a pre-thrown ceramic vase as their canvas. After a brief demo and some design inspiration, you'll get to work carving your own unique design into the surface. Tools and materials will be provided, and no prior ceramic experience is necessary.
Come ready to relax, get a little dusty, and leave with a piece that’s truly your own!
