Clay as Canvas: Sgraffito wall plate

Sgraffito is a technique where potters can put a layer of glaze or slip on a piece of pottery, let it dry, then use a pottery carving tool to scratch at it to show the base layer of color.

Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop where you can unleash your creativity and make a unique ceramic sgraffito wall plate. This in-person event will be held at Lijsterbesstraat 43 5616LE Eindhoven, a cosy and inspiring ceramic studio near Strijp-S area.

Note: For the best outcome of the workshop, we recommended to prepare few reference drawings you really like, that is Black and White. It could be made by you, or collected from the internet. (just in case, we also have some references for you as well in studio) The workshop is beginner-friendly and open-level, so there is no crazy drawing skill needed.
