Friends, let's rally together for an incredible cause! We're hosting a benefit at Breakers Sports Bar to support the Southern Guilford High School Band, the SONIC BOOM, as they prepare for competition in Kennesaw, GA. Join us on FEB 23 for an action-packed day of darts, pool, and community spirit! Proceeds will go directly to the SONIC BOOM. Your presence will make a real difference in the lives of these talented students! LETS GET THE BAND TO GEORGIA!
SGHS is a title 1 school with very little to no funding for trips like this. As a parent of a band member, it was heartbreaking to hear the kids express concerns about money at the band meetings. The cost for this trip per child is $550 that is due March 1. That’s a lot of money for a kid to raise let a lone in such a short period of time. Let’s lighten their load in any way we can!
All billiards money from the whole weekend will go to the band! A portion from drink specials from the day will go the band! There will be raffle baskets and 50/50 raffles- all monies going to the band! A portion of LOD monies will go to the band! Donations will be accepted for the kids all weekend as well!
