In this workshop we will give practical tools to improvise in select genres. The lens of genre or different theatrical styles can be an instant way to craft character, theatricality, point of view, game and story and even have an impact on stage picture. This workshop is a quickstudy version of some of these theatrical styles that can help any improviser expand their variety of characters and scene work. We will dive into Shakespearean, American Realism (Williams), and Absurdism (Beckett, Ionesco)
