CURRENT GUIDELINES: Due to the Governor’s recent order restricting indoor group meetings to 25 people, the best way to participate in a Spring-Ford Board Meeting is by watching on YouTube or Zoom. This meeting will not be open for in-person attendance beyond a total of 25 people.
ABOUT PUBLIC COMMENT
At the start of the meeting, members of the public may comment on agenda items only. The School Board will move through the meeting agenda then at the end will open the microphone for Public Comment.
In order to meet the requirements of Pennsylvania’s Sunshine Law, it is necessary to record the names and addresses of all individuals who speak to the board during the meeting. To assure compliance with this requirement, it is essential that those planning to address the board through Zoom use the "Raise Hand" feature and when prompted state their name and complete address.
Members of the audience are asked to limit their comments to two minutes. To allow time for all those who wish to speak to the board, the board president may ask an individual to yield the microphone to the next speaker. Please keep in mind that the Public Comment portion of the School Board meeting is not intended as a question and answer session, rather a time to make a comment to the School Board.
