Sex Toys 101

Does the thought of introducing sex toys in to your life or relationship excite you but you’re not quite sure where to begin? The world of sex toys is a highly saturated market and selecting the right toy for you and your needs can be a little overwhelming. In our Sex Toys 101 workshop we’ll be showing you all the latest and greatest intimacy devices, as well as discussing their best uses, how to clean and maintain them, and of course, what type of lube to pair with them. After the workshop, take advantage of an exclusive discount and shop with our boutique’s experts as they offer personalized advice and guidance on how to select your new favorite toy!

All workshops are open to people of all genders and sexualities, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state laws, attendees must be over the age of 18 to attend workshops or shop in the boutique.

Workshops generally run about an hour. Afterwards, the boutique is open for individual questions and private shopping for about half an hour.

Event Seats typically fill up quickly and we have less seats available for workshops than before, so don’t delay!

All workshops take place at our Southtown location at 707 S. Saint Mary's St. San Antonio, Texas 78205, unless the description says otherwise.

Tickets are based on a sliding scale. With a sliding scale, you determine what you pay. Keep in mind that the fees we charge pay for the instructors as well as for the Sexology Institute to continue our educational workshops. The sliding ticket scale is between $15-25, with the following recommendations

$15: Those who are finding it hard to meet everyday costs

$20: Those who can meet every day costs but find it stressful

$25: Those who can meet everyday costs comfortably

These are how we recommend determining what to pay, however you determine what you feel comfortable with.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel, please notify Sexology Institute at least 48 hours prior to the workshop and you will receive a store credit, less a $10 cancellation fee per ticket. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible to receive the store credit. A full refund will be issued only in the event that the Sexology Institute cancels the workshop.
