About this Event
People with developmental disabilities are often desexualized by society, infantilizing them and denying them access to sexual health education. This leaves people more vulnerable to sexual assault and abuse, not to mention limiting their opportunities to have fulfilling and healthy romantic and sexual relationships.
This class is oriented towards understanding societal barriers to sex ed and pleasure for developmentally disabled individuals and how to educate on sexuality with disabled individuals. Additionally, we will explore the positive impact providing comprehensive sexual health education can have.
Sliding Scale tickets, $5 - $15, but we will not turn anyone away for lack of funds. Email [email protected] to request discounted/free tickets.
Doors open at 10:30 AM.
