Fun with Fabrics is offering an amazing…. 2 days of sewing, in the company of like-minded sewists in a 3 star hotel, where we can indulge in some ‘me-time’ and have lots of fun and laughter with friends old and new. Included this weekends fun are lunch both days, Bed, breakfast and evening meal in single occupancy rooms. (Unless you want to share) 2 full days of fun and instructional mini- classes with access to tea, coffee and biscuits.
All materials you will require for the classes are included too….
You will need your own sewing machine, and the following feet: normal zip foot, concealed zip foot, free motion embroidery or darning foot. As well as a basic sewing kit and a selection of threads.
Home for the weekend will be Dragonfly Hotel, Bury St Edmunds.
All rooms offer complimentary WiFi, a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, tea and coffee making facilities and King Size Hypnos beds.
If you require any drinks outside of our mini-classes, they must be purchased and paid for by yourself.

10-1pm Class 3 ‘Sewing Bee’ style pattern challenge
1-2pm Lunch
2-5pm Class 4 - Applique washing line panel - TBC
5pm Thank you and good bye
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, the meeting room is up a flight of stairs and there are no accessible toilets on the same level.
The weekend will be Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February 2025.
Fee for the weekend is £275.
A non-refundable deposit of £75 is due on booking, payment plan available on request (please feel free to ask for details)
Gift vouchers for this event will be available too.
Balance must be paid in full before 20th January 2025.
