You do NOT need to be a seamstress in order to help! Anyone that feels led to help is welcome; I will find a job for you. :) You also do not have to be there for the entire day. The plan for the day includes getting to know each other, learning about the Never Forgotten Angel Gowns group and goals, discuss the different jobs that are available, prepping wedding gowns, and starting to get more gowns made.
What you should bring with you:
- Sewing machine (if you have one), with bobbin, needles, and user manual if you have it.
- any sewing accessories that you may want to use
- Lunch and drink
- Pen or pencil
This event DOES count towards volunteer hours for GFWC-Marianna members. If you are not a member, but would like your hours to count for another organization (and need it documented), let me know and I'll have a letter available for you to turn in.
Please RSVP by marking Going on the event or by messaging the page, so that I can make sure I have enough patterns, etc for everyone.
I look forward to seeing everyone again and getting some gowns made!
